What are multiple tooth implants?
Multiple tooth implants are used to fill gaps where there are missing teeth. If you have gaps between your teeth, dental tooth implants can be the solution to prevent bone loss and movement in your teeth, lips and cheeks. Implants are placed into your jaw and function like natural teeth in both appearance and use. You won’t have to avoid certain foods due to missing teeth and you can enjoy similar chewing power as you would with natural teeth.

How does it work?
The multiple tooth implant procedure comprises four steps.
- The dentist will take a CT x-ray and full mouth video scan to obtain a clear image of the existing teeth and gums.
- The titanium implants are placed with local anaesthetic and sedation.
- The implants osseointegrate (bond) to the bone over a period of approximately 3 months.
- The definitive teeth are fitted and can be used as normal. Maintaining good oral health and regular hygiene appointments is essential to keep implants and gums healthy.
