Since first working in the front lines treating dental and facial trauma as an oral and Maxillofacial House Surgeon at Waikato Hospital, Luke has worked or studied in the UK, Australia the USA and NZ.

In 1999 Luke was awarded the New Zealand Society or Periodontology Prize, and in 2000 the Leask Memorial Medal for Conservative Dentistry.

Luke has been providing IV sedation since 2002, implant treatment since 2005 and continues to attend advanced training courses to provide expert care for his patients.

Outside of the practice Luke is a keen skier, snowboarder and cyclist.
