Porcelain Veneers

Veneers are a staple in cosmetic dentistry. They involve ultra-thin sculpted pieces of tooth-shaped porcelain that fit over the front of your teeth. They serve to improve the function and appearance of teeth that have been significantly discoloured, chipped, pitted, malformed, crooked or spaced apart. True to the promise of cosmetic dentistry, in some cases, we even alter the fullness of your upper lip in order to obtain a better balance of your profile.

Unlike crowns or caps, porcelain laminate veneers don’t require the removal of a lot of tooth structure. Our veneers are handcrafted in a dental laboratory from an impression we have taken after tooth preparation.

During the first preparation visit, we determine the colour of your teeth using a shade guide. The teeth are then carefully smoothed and shaped to accommodate the sculptured porcelain layer. Temporaries are placed on the teeth while the veneers are being created in the lab. When the veneers fit perfectly and you are happy with the look, the veneers are bonded directly onto your teeth and polished to give you a natural, aesthetic smile.

Veneers won’t stain, making them a popular means of improving your smile. After careful planning, treatment may take two or more visits to complete and can last for up to 15 years.

Straight teeth are a big part of cosmetic dentistry. At Titirangi Dental, we provide orthodontic treatment to correct crooked teeth. AH Bridge to replace missing teeth

Four upper front teeth were heavily restored and stained. Repaired with 4 crowns.

Eight tired old veneers were replaced with straighter and brighter veneers.

Four upper and four lower veneers were placed to straighten and brighten the teeth prior to an upcoming wedding

Front teeth were poorly aligned with a large space present. New smile designed with four veneers to align the teeth and close the space.

Heavily worn teeth due to a long term uneven bite. We redesigned the bite and rebuilt with upper ceramic crowns and bridge plus lower composite veneers

      My experience at Titirangi dental is always impressive. Even late on a Friday afternoons their professionalism is on top form. I get treated as an important person of significance. They value each individual with such friendly approach which had me relax more. No tricks or upselling just honest focus on what needs attention and a good sense of being taken care of when leaving. Their fabulous reputation most certainly stands on strong foundations thats for sure. I personally wouldnt want to go anywhere else their team from reception to surgeon is too good.
