Process of Getting Porcelain Veneers

Veneers are a fantastic option because they are fast, straightforward and convenient. Unlike crowns or caps, you don’t need to remove a lot of tooth structure to receive veneers. Our veneers are handcrafted in a dental laboratory from an impression or 3-D digital scan we have taken from your teeth.

Step one – the Preparation Visit:

During the first preparation visit, we determine the colour of your teeth using a shade guide. The teeth are then carefully smoothed and shaped to accommodate the sculptured porcelain layer. Temporaries are placed on the teeth while the veneers are being created in the lab.

Step two – Permanently Bonding Your Veneers:

When the veneers fit perfectly and you are happy with the look, they are bonded directly onto your teeth and polished to give you a natural, aesthetic smile. After careful planning, treatment may take two or more visits to complete.

      I am really happy with Titirangi Dental. A couple of years ago I changed from a dentist in town I have been to for decades because his practice got taken over by  when he retired. Dr Luke at Titirangi dentist is a wonderful find. Very very happy with his work and recommendations. Plus he doesn’t try to sell me extra stuff… like Lumio was doing.       My experience at Titirangi dental is always impressive. Even late on a Friday afternoons their professionalism is on top form. I get treated as an important person of significance. They value each individual with such friendly approach which had me relax more. No tricks or upselling just honest focus on what needs attention and a good sense of being taken care of when leaving. Their fabulous reputation most certainly stands on strong foundations thats for sure. I personally wouldnt want to go anywhere else their team from reception to surgeon is too good. I can put my hand on heart and recommend this five star practice as I do. Go for it! You'd be hard pushed to find better me thinks!
