What’s involved in Root Canal Treatment?

After you have been formally diagnosed by our West Auckland dentists, we will work quickly to save your tooth. While it is a straightforward procedure, root canal treatments may involve multiple visits to the dentist:

Your dentist applies a local anaesthetic and makes an opening in the pulp chamber
Dead and diseased pulp is removed and the root canals are medicated and irrigated
Temporary fillings may be used to protect your tooth in between procedures.
Following this, the pulp chamber and root canals are cleaned and filled permanently
Your tooth is finished with a crown for complete aesthetic and functional support

      I am really happy with Titirangi Dental. A couple of years ago I changed from a dentist in town I have been to for decades because his practice got taken over by  when he retired.       My experience at Titirangi dental is always impressive. Even late on a Friday afternoons their professionalism is on top form. I get treated as an important person of significance. They value each individual with such friendly approach which had me relax more. No tricks or upselling just honest focus on what needs attention and a good sense of being taken care of when leaving. Their fabulous reputation most certainly stands on strong foundations thats for sure. I personally wouldnt want to go anywhere else their team from reception to surgeon is too good. I can put my hand on heart and recommend this five star practice as I do. Go for it! You'd be hard pushed to find better me thinks!
